Public Visitation from 9AM to 10AM PRIOR to Funeral Mass Tuesday January 10 at 10AM Christ The King Catholic Church in Milwaukie, Oregon. Graveside Service Tuesday January 10 at 11:30AM at Mt Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Reception/Luncheon to follow the graveside service, details pending.
Jaime "Jimmy" Fernando Lumba, beloved husband, father, brother and friend passed away on Monday January 2, 2017 at the age of 60. Jaime was born in Manila, Philippines, the youngest of seven children, to Hector Galicia Lumba and Eva Corazon Lumba. At 18, Jaime immigrated to America with his mother and two sisters, Linda and Loida.
Jaime attended Portland State University studying business administration where he was an active member of a competitive chess team and bowling league. Upon graduation, he worked in the corporate offices of Wells Fargo. He soon married Jocelyn De Jesus Lumba in June of 1990 and together they raised their two children in Clackamas, Oregon. He will always be remembered for his fierce love of his children and his faith in God.
Jaime is survived by his loving children, Jennifer Lumba and Jessica Lumba, his wife, Jocelyn Lumba, and his siblings Cesar Lumba, Amado Lumba, Oscar Lumba, Linda Mon, and Loida Gonzales.
Jaime was a devout Catholic who attended mass regularly. He was actively involved in charitable work throughout his lifetime. He was heavily involved with Meals on Wheels, Blanchet House and St. Vincent De Paul.
Jaime will be greatly missed by all.
