Minnie Mae FrostDecember 31, 1920 ~ April 22, 2017 (age 96)
Minnie passed away April 22nd, while holding her son and daughters hands. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and sister.
She was the 4th of 8 children. Minnie spent most of her life in Minnesota and Oregon. She was a strong and independent woman. Even as she got older and it was harder for her to get around, she enjoyed getting outdoors. She loved going for drives. A couple of her favorites were driving out the old Gorge highway. Sometimes going just past Hood River for an impromptu picnic. Or going to Lincoln City to watch the ocean and the people. Then there’s the famous Mother’s Day breakfast drive when she and her daughter ended up driving to Bend!
Her contagious smile and humor will be missed.
Minnie was preceded in death by husband George, partner Jim, daughter Sandy, great-grandson Chris, sisters Gladys, Beatrice, Clara and Velma, and brothers Oscar and Arlo.
She is survived by son Don (Betty), daughter Beth, brother Albert “Buck” (Lois), granddaughters
Debbie, Shari, Karen, Patina, and grandsons Cory and Luke. Her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews
